2007 Academy Award Nominated Short Films

2007, Magnolia

The live action shorts are quite good, although the Academy's choice for the winner is utterly bewildering: they chose one of the weakest entries. This disc is worth it for the losers, one in particular. Meanwhile, the animation is a strange brew, although once again my choice would likely conflict with the Academy's.
