In this Danish film, three young women, in the hospital for cancer, befriend one another during the Christmas holidays. Hands down one of the very finest live action shorts I've ever seen: flawless, heart-wrenching performances draw you into the deeply moving story. Bring tissues. How this lost to the lightweight The Mozart of Pickpockets is perhaps the great mystery of 2007. Honestly, I think the Academy was on drugs.
