Delaware & Northern

Within a 21" X 46" space this plan features a double-track main, a freight yard, and interesting industries to switch. Plus, having no grades and no cut track pieces, it can be up and running quickly.

Notes on operation: Two trains can be run simultaneously, although switching with two trains on the layout. In addition to the feeders shown at the two crossovers, one allows a locomotive to be stored in the yard; however, using DCC would do away with the need for insulators and multiple feeders.
