The Bus Stop |
|
The bus stop stands as one example of why I love the hobby. You see, I never planned to make a bus stop—it quite literally happened by accident. I'd just completed the foundation for the bar, and I was adding figures to the sidewalks. I'd added one gent who was looking up, as if he was a tourist, but instead he appeared more like a weary traveler, so I gave him some companions. The result was a mini-scene that literally formed spontaneously. Naturally the bus stop needed a bus. I'd had a Ztrack bus for some time, but didn't think I'd be able to use it because it's too old for my modeling era. But the bus stop was located behind a wall of trees, making it difficult to get a good look at the bus. So, with a little detail painting and some Dull Cote, I had a generic bus to complete the scene. |
