The (Second) Newport & Rock Falls

A Compact "Retro" Layout

This on-again-off-again retro layout was inspired by the work done by a fellow retro modeling enthusiast. This is not what I would consider "fine" modeling by any stretch of the imagination (for that, see James River Branch, Somewhere in New Jersey or The Mountain Vista Railroad); this is nothing more than "fun" modeling.

Layout Setting

There's no actual place that the layout represents; it's pure fantasy. And there's no point in attempting to twist reality into knots trying to justify what I've done, which is just have some fun. Remember fun?
