Original Magazine Article Drafts
These are my original drafts of just a few articles, not the edited versions appearing in Model Railroader magazine, so they include information not present in print; they also feature the original artwork I submitted. The titles in parentheses are what the magazine editors renamed them.

Getting published isn't all it's cracked up to be. On one occasion, Kalmbach reproduced my artwork exactly as I'd submitted it, but gave credit to their staff artist instead. On another, their editor mangled the text badly, introducing a number of grammatical errors not present in the original manuscript, which had the effect of making it appear I couldn't write.
