Birds of the Sanctuary: Brown Creeper

A member of the Nuthatch family and resident of northeastern states, this unremarkable little bird is actually borderline rare. Well-camouflaged, it's usually found clinging to the bark of trees where it ferrets out insects. I've only ever seen one, but I've spotted him several times on the same tree.
