Unlike the other track boxes which are glued shut and not recloseable once opened, this box has recloseable end flaps.

The crossing is accompanied by a set of thin spacer parts and an instruction sheet that (awkwardly) explains how to set up the crossing; the back of the box provides a visual depiction of same. The railroad track is made from solid brass flat bar stock, which is prone to oxidization.
Faller Packaging
Faller sold 421 as Rapido- or Trix-style, with no product number difference. Also notice that the artwork is the same for both, even though they look different. This explains why Aurora's Trix version has the wrong artwork.
