The Figures
Vollmer figures are all rebranded Preiser sets; lately the line appears to have been pruned back substantially, if their website is to be believed (items marked OOP? are missing). They're packed in clear plastic boxes slightly larger than Preiser's, with paper inserts and, oddly, vacu-formed nests that appear to be taken from Preiser's smaller boxes. Photos are mine. Vollmer also makes some structure kits that feature animals; the two listed here are actually the same except for the animals included.

Vollmer products are relatively easy to purchase through online shops, although the figure sets are getting harder to find.
