Track Switches

Here's a closer look at the switch. Images courtesy of Alan Ramsay at TGauge.co.uk.

Recently-released are two new switches: "one-way" left and right switches. These are simply their regular switches (above) without the points. They allow trains to travel from either route on the diverging end of the switch toward the single-track end of the switch. Since there are no points, nothing needs to be set in order to accommodate the flow of trains along either route. Note, however, that trains cannot travel in the reverse direction, that is, from the single track toward the diverging tracks, so they're only applicable to layouts where traffic always runs in the same direction at all times.
