8.4.9. Mr. Wheelie
One of the most challenging things
to do when painting model vehicles is getting the wheels right. I wanted to do a better job of it than the model manufacturer did in the
example at right. But with my shaky hands getting worse, how could I possibly hope to do any better? The answer came to me while I was working
on one of my switch machines. It was simple enough that, if it didn't work, I would not have
wasted much of anything.
