4.9. Lineside Shed Scene
A little "mini-scene" from a reference image that caught my eye was approximately replicated on my layout. Note the stone viaduct: this is where the control panel was going on the original version of John Allen's layout, so this is a post-expansion image.
I had a minor conundrum: I'd kitbashed a wooden one and a brass one, and couldn't decide between them, so I put it up for a vote on my blog; the wooden one was the unanimous winner. Some commercial tie stacks rounded out the scene.
Later I installed a fence to keep the GD employee I'd just added safe. I'd also thought about adding a switch stand and no trespassing sign to make the scene even more authentic, but never got around to it.
