My first ever kitty: Snow White, taken circa 1972. You can read more about her here, part of a new sub-site about kitties I've known. Lots of new pics for catnuts! And speaking of kitties... a big thank you for Ben from us all!

Here's Part 2 to yesterday's post. Here's Nubby taking a ride with us. The cats loved their boat rides, and behaved as though they were people taking in the sights. Never once did they jump out of the boat, or even act nervous. It was kind of spooky. And speaking of kitties... a big thank you for Ben from us all!

While poking around my backup drive, I came across this slide from the mid-1970s. This is Ebony, a Manx, a.k.a. Nubby. She was one of two cats that loved taking boat rides with us. They were a hoot to watch: they'd see us headed for the boat, and hop in with is. We'd paddle around for an hour or so, and when we returned, they'd hop back onto the dock. And speaking of kitties... a big thank you for Ben from us all!

Bobby has his own page! Long overdue. Also expanded Grumpy Art with new stuff, including Bobby. And speaking of kitties... Ben E. Factor has struck again. Ben, we all thank you from the bottoms of our hearts!

Given the heat wave on the way, I thought I'd cool things off a bit with a view from another season.

I now have over 500 images and videos on my phone. I need to start moving them off the phone onto my PC, because a) I'm running out of room on the phone, and b) I have no backups. The vast majority of them are of my kids, because hey, can't have too many kitty pics, right? They'll join the >3,000 I already have, while house/property ones will merge with the >18,000 on the desktop. Today's image was taken yesterday evening from one of my favorite vantage points. I love that arched branch, appearing as an arm outstretched to protect a sacred space. Sometimes I imagine Katie resting there.
