Welcome, Fellow Catnuts!

It goes without saying that I love cats. Indeed, I prefer them to humans. I have two friends who don't own pets; they say they can't stand losing them. I prefer to quote Alfred Lord Tennyson: "Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all." Which is to say, I've always had cats, whenever practical, and if I was to live any longer, I'd continue to have them right up to the bitter end.

Notice the banner says, "Kitties I Have Known." We don't "own" our cats. Many people might quip, "No, they own us." I don't buy that, ether. I see it as being family—not ownership, but kinship. Granted, it's all by adoption, but that doesn't mean we can't all love one another like a happy family. Here I share tails (see what I did there) of the kitties I've known—and I've known quite a few.
