History in a Nutshell
Very little is known about this obscure,
short-lived company. Around 1965, Arnold von Blattmann of Emmendingen, Germany, began to manufacture a series of N Scale structure kits under the
brand name KleiWe; then in 1971, Arnold purchased the line from Blattmann, so the story would only seem to span six years.
N Scale Products
KleiWe was imported into the US by DimiNutive Trains, Nathan R. Preston and others. All of their kits were N Scale, and they've become something of a collector's item, fetching as much as $50 each.
