2015-, Mendacity Pictures et al

An edgy mix of guns, crooks and spaceships, Killjoys is definitely a guilty pleasure. Yes, space bounty hunters is nothing new, but this Canadian production gives it a whole fresh, new style and a sense of believability. It doesn't bother to take the time to explain any of its techno-mumbo-jumbo, or to even justify its existence; it slams you back in your chair and tells you what's cool. Once you catch on, you'll want more. Now in its third season, Killjoys has been renewed for a fourth, which alas has been planned as its final.
