Not caring at all for The X Files, I was fully expecting to dislike this paranormal quasi-clone; however, the appealing cast and the show's decidedly lighter, quirkier style were enjoyable—enough that I bought into all five seasons—although it did get really goofy on occasion. The biggest letdown came with the final episodes, which saw the destruction of the warehouse once too often, and a series ender that felt entirely too rushed and contrived.
