Considered by many to be a mature, thought-provoking series, Humans requires us to meet it halfway before it becomes satisfying, and while there's really nothing wrong with that, I wasn't sufficiently motivated to do so. While it occasionally drifts off course, it distinguishes itself with intelligent writing and subtle, eerily effective performances by some of the actors playing the non-human synths.
