This extraordinary short is an animated interpretation of Chris Landreth's interview with Ryan Larkin, an artist and animator from Montreal, who at the time was destitute from a lifetime of drugs and alcohol. It features some of the most intriguingly bizarre effects nearly impossible to describe in words. After the film gained substantial notoriety, including an Oscar, Ryan returned to filmmaking until his death four years later.
