Due to budget constraints, this Up-related short became the absolute worst piece of "animation" (using the term very loosely here) Pixar has ever released. Indeed, at first I thought I was watching a little introductory sequence done in a flat 2D style, as is sometimes done. But it never ended; it kept on going like that for Four. Long. Minutes. If their budget was too tight for proper animation, then they shouldn't have made anything at all—I mean, they produce better animatics than this. What an embarrassment, not to mention an insult to a truly great film.
