It probably doesn't help that I actively disliked the original cartoon series. On the other hand, if I'd liked it, this obvious money-grab would have sullied a childhood memory. But since the score can't be any lower either way, it doesn't matter. The screenwriters for this heap o' bear dung clearly didn't care one bit about entertaining their target audience's parents, which only underscores the studio's motive of making a quick buck.
