Up is Pixar at their finest. Every aspect of the film was created with the utmost love and care, from the deeply touching story to the sublime visuals. And never was this more evident than in the first five minutes, as we're swept wordlessly though the life of an elderly man, voiced to perfection by Ed Asner, who loses his wife. I'm sure there are many others like me who keep this gift among their very favorites.
