Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

What can I say? It was an impulse buy, with the intent of watching it while recovering from the flu. I was actually a little surprised by it: I found the articulation of the turtles' faces somehow strangely fascinating, and I wound up enjoying the film much more than I'd expected. That's not to say I thought it was great; it merely had some elements that held my attention, including some decent effects. Megan Fox certainly did not do the film any favors, the plot was superfluous, and it was generally loud and stupid. Universally panned by the critics, it still pulled in nearly $500 million at the box office, so somebody liked it.
