The Flash
Ordinarily I do a full separation of church and state: I pay no mind to the personal lives of actors, and instead focus solely on their work. But the sordid details surrounding Ezra Miller are simply impossible to ignore, and reprehensible to the extreme. I therefore refuse to watch The Flash, and also question the studio's decision to release it anyway, especially when a number of other potentially better films were axed. All of this casts the studio, and indeed the industry as a whole, in increasingly questionable light. While profit has always been a significant motivator for studios, now more than ever it appears that quality entertainment is no longer even a secondary consideration; instead, it seems irrelevant.
I had to chortle with glee when it was reported that the film lost over $200 million. Serves the studio right.
