This delightful French production is a suite of six vignettes that take place in the same setting with the same characters as they reenact scenes from a French television series, Dragons and Princesses. While the film's French origins may create a cultural disconnect for American viewers, the animation—executed entirely as computer-generated silhouettes (which admittedly does get a bit monotonous after 80 minutes)—is refreshingly creative.
