Everything that could go wrong went wrong with the production of this low-budget Alien clone. Three directors, four endings and $90 million dollars later, Supernova limped into theaters and earned an embarrassing $15 million. In truth, it isn't quite as bad as some might have you think, but you have to work at finding the good bits. The dialog is fairly snappy, the effects are half-decent, and Angela Bassett's romance is somewhat intriguing.
