Stanley Kubrick's Cold War black comedy is so highly regarded that it's number three on the American Film Institutes 100 best comedies. But, I confess I don't find it all that amusing, and I'm not entirely certain why. I understand the humor on an intellectual level, but it doesn't make me laugh. In fact, I don't even grin; somewhere in my head I just hear myself say, that's kinda funny, but that's it. I guess my wiring is messed up.
