Space Station 76

2014, Rival Pictures

This quirky little indie film kinda comes out of left field and whacks you upside the head. With its lovingly authentic 70s vibe, it makes no demands of its viewer other than to admire its attention to subtle details, and revel in its dark, subversive humor, which permeates the film from end to end. Writer/director Jack Plotnick is to be congratulated for his labor of love; Liv Tyler was so enthusiastic about the project that she brought her own white leather go-go boots.
