It starts out with an on-the-nose Apple-ish product launch spoof. Then we meet our main character: a complete social reject, who Joneses for the latest young-person's social-networking bot. The model he finally receives is likewise a reject, a clever cross between Baymax and Max Headroom. The humor works better than that of most films of its ilk, and being a British production is perhaps the reason why.
