Check your brain at the door and prepare to be entertained by a genuinely amusing, mostly affectionate parody of Star Trek. The fantasy-turned-reality story hits maybe kinda almost too close to home with some of its actors' characterizations, which makes it all the funnier; Alan Rickman in particular really nails his role as the Spockian second-fiddle.
