A painfully predictable, derivative story makes this beast tedious to watch, despite its creative visual style and decent animation. It's possible that the film's Spanish origins may have contributed to its awkward, sometimes embarrassing humor, but that's just speculation. Watch it only if you have absolutely nothing better to do.
