Rotten Tomatoes cheers, "Black Panther elevates superhero cinema to thrilling new heights while telling one of the MCU's most absorbing stories—and introducing some of its most fully realized characters." Many other critics agreed, and it was a smash hit, breaking numerous box office records. Well, not being an aficionado of the comics, it was all lost on me, coming across as little more than a noisy light show based on so much nonsense, not unlike The Avengers. Nice effects, but not much else. Sorry.
