Night at the Museum

Only somewhat better than what one might expect, this is little more than a vehicle for Ben Stiller, who does little more than run around frantically and react to a lot of marginal CGI effects. Evidently this formula was enough to make it a box office success.

More of the same. Effects are somewhat better, but Ben Stiller isn't. Robin Williams does the best he can with what he has. It was still a minor box office hit.

The final chapter in the trilogy fares no better, and carries the one-two punch of the deaths of Robin Williams and Mickey Rooney; the film was dedicated to them both.
