I'm not sure if it's superhero burnout, or if this one simply doesn't have much going for it. Brie Larson did fine... with what she had. The film certainly had some good set pieces, particularly after she first landed on Earth. And of course, being a Marvel superhero film, it's wall-to-wall effects. But the sum of its parts just didn't add up. And that's about all I can say about that.
