The Groove Tube

1974, Ken Shapiro

Among other things, the 1970s spawned the "shock jock" culture long before it was even a thing. Notable for having Chevy Chase as one of its three main performers, Groove is derived from a series of R-rated videotaped shorts popular in some New York venues at the time. The 75-minute anthology comprises re-enacted sketches chosen to skewer television; alas, the results are so sophomoric as to be painful to watch. However, I found one sketch that made owning the disc (barely) worthwhile: "Kramp TV Kitchen," a parody of early cooking shows. Pay close attention: this complex, messy sequence was all done in one take.
