The Fugitive

1993, Kopelson Entertainment

Amazingly, The Fugitive film feels more expansive and encompassing than the 1960s television series on which it was based. Taught and gripping with an intelligent script, the film never lets up on the gas as Harrison Ford slips from one near-miss to the next. Nominated for seven Academy Awards, Tommy Lee Jones took home the one win for best supporting actor. Holds up very well with repeated views, and the director commentary is outstanding.
