Watch out, here comes an altogether-too-obvious you-can-do-anything female-empowerment story. That alone might put some readers off, but the combination of outstanding animation and terrific voice acting more than compensate—trust me. It does get a bit goofy around the edges at times, and some of the plot points are patently Disney-esque. But again, you'll enjoy the ride too much to be bothered. If nothing else, the stunning visuals will keep your retinas well entertained.
