Baraka

1992, Magidson Films

Ron Fricke of "Qatsi" fame went off to do his own thing, and created Baraka, which is cut from the same cloth as Koyaanisqatsi yet doesn't carry as heavy a burden; the result, while still potent, is lighter and more joyous, and hence more approachable. Roger Ebert said of this film, "If man sends another Voyager to the distant stars and it can carry only one film on board, that film might be Baraka."
