What exactly goes on inside Terry Gilliam's head? Time Bandits offers us a peek—and oh, what marvelous things we might see. This is Gilliam at his most optimistic, as opposed to his dark side, as seen in Brazil. If you're a Python fan, then by definition you're a Gilliam fan, and thus this film belongs on your shelf. I mean, John Cleese as Robin Hood? How could you go wrong?
