All About Aurora Postage Stamp Trains |
|
This is a momentary-contact switch for the control of track switches, uncouplers and relays. More information here. The device is dark green, and comes with a small slotted brass pin (below left) that screws into the side of the switch body to gang multiple switches together. NOTE: This pin is easily lost, and so it's very often missing from used stock. NOTE: Beginning in 1969, according to their catalog, Aurora included a small, branded pushbutton control with their remote switches to replace 4995. More information here. |
ATI later sold the control in blister packs. |
