4992: 2-Circuit Relay
4992 is a relay with two circuits (2PDT latching). It is self de-energizing, so that it's burnout-proof, and thus suited for applications where the control pulse is prolonged or sustained—for example, when used in conjunction with the relay trip track, 4979.
The box contains one relay (usually wrapped in tan paper) and an instruction sheet that shows the internal schematics of 4991 and 4992, and how to connect the relay trip track, 4979.
There are two versions of the instruction sheet. One is two-sided with German text.
The other is single-sided with illustrations only.
