All About Postage Stamp Trains
Pullman Standard's PS-3 covered hoppers emerged in the early 60s. Aside from bulky braces, the big problem with Roco's otherwise acceptable model is the same old issue of having the same old solid-journal Bettendorf-type trucks they put on everything else, instead of roller bearing trucks. Also, someone forgot to include the road number on the UP unit.
The cars were variously described as 50' or 47' on the inserts.
