All About Aurora Postage Stamp Trains |
Polk's Model-Craft Hobbies of Jersey City (founded 1935, closed 12/2013) made an offer to dealers that addressed the supposed lack of bus sets after 1969, as well as the fact that Faller's buses ran on AC instead of DC. Evidently Polk received a batch of special DC buses from Faller, and also had a healthy supply of track at 1969 prices. "Your market for 'N' Buses is waiting..." There's no date on this document; however, there are Postage Stamp bus instruction sheets from 1973, suggesting Aurora re-released the sets after a hiatus. Thus it may be safe to assume this was issued between 1970 and 1972. Then again, assumptions are always risky.
