Aneste/Datank is a small Spanish model railroad accessory manufacturer and distributor
that has been around for many years. Aneste fabricates items such as streetlights, fences and such, while Datank produces cast metal details. |
They're also official distributors for Herpa, Kibri and others. |
The Figures
Datank produces a decent range of N Scale figures. However, upon close examination, one will realize these are soft-metal castings made from
Preiser and Merten figures, packed in cardboard boxes with clear plastic windows. Curiously, Datank
also uses Preiser's catalog images on the back of the boxes and on their website. Photos
are mine.
