8 March 2022 I'd wanted to remix most of the tracks in Quarter To; however, I decided against it mostly out of a sense of nostalgia for them—they're among the first decent tunes I'd created. So, instead, I remixed some of them with special effects to make them sound as if they'd been ripped from old vinyl or cassette tape, or recorded live. It was a fun little exercise in "lo-fi-ing" music. The track descriptions indicate their "source."

4 March 2022 One of the biggest challenges creating my music has been that my office space does not have a decent sound system. This has made mixing an iterative guessing game that frequently leads to less-than-ideal results. Not having the capital to equip my office with a reference-grade sound system, I decided instead to move my computer downstairs to my living room, where I have a decent hi-fi (see Audiophilia for the specs). The move means I can do much better mixing going forward. But it also means I will likely want to remix many of my existing tunes—such is the price of progress!
