A discussion about sectional track got started, and a challenge was invoked to create a large layout with Kato Unitrack that didn't have an "obvious Unitrack look." I accepted the challenge, and adapted a plan I was working on (one of many) for another forum member at the time. Color indicates elevation: blue is the lowest, red is in the middle, and yellow is highest. Note that there are no "cheater" (expanding) track pieces in this plan. Also note the stacked lines along the left and around the coal mines.
