Jersey City Ferry

Here's a plan that can provide a modest amount of operation in a visually interesting, atypical space. The layout has no grades, and there are no cut track pieces. Scenery can be used to expand the apparent real estate; in this case, a thick band of trees running the width of the layout divides the space more or less in half.

Notes on operation: While this layout can only support the operation of one train, there are both leading and trailing sidings, plus a runaround, for plenty of switching action, assuming that uncoupling ramps are installed on the sidings. A removable ferry would greatly enhance operating options.

PLAN OVERVIEW
Overall size: 25" X 44"

NOTES
The 3 #902 straight sections and the 5 #912 curved sections required come with the switches.

This layout can be built using
