Edelweiss Mountain

Inspired by the Alishan Forest Railway in Taiwan (although not set there), this little three-tiered roundy-rounder will only appeal to certain people—and you know who you are. There are no cut track pieces, and the one token switch is entirely optional. Your challenge in building it will be managing all of the complex grades, and providing access to the many labyrinthine tunnels.

Notes on operation: This is a roundy-rounder, pure and simple. One short train, endless loops, mindless fun.

This layout is being built by David Mitchell in the UK—check out is progress!
