Simplico Freight

A beginner's layout doesn't necessarily have to look like one; this compact plan has lots of eye appeal to belie its simplicity—note how roads and waterways can add a great deal of visual interest. For ease of construction, it has no grades and no cut track pieces. It doesn't even require modified track sections to mate with the switches—everything can be used stock.

Notes on operation: This layout can only support the operation of one short train. Uncoupling ramps on the two sidings allow you to perform some simple switching moves.

NOTES
*2 of the 4 #902 straight sections and the 2 #912 curved sections required come with the two switches. Be sure to use the notched straight sections on the straight legs of the switches.

This layout can be built using
Märklin track or Rokuhan track.
