5. Animation and Special Effects
It was a simple plan: return to the concept behind the Greystone & Rock Bottom. And that was to have just one animation, the mill water wheel. But, like sirens, the animations left over from the Mountain Vista were calling me. I couldn't use them all, to be sure, but I eventually used far more of them than expected. Some of them simply "came along for the ride" with certain structures I'd kept. But I confess I worked hard to keep more (like the barber pole, which spawned some major structure reshuffling), and I even created a few new ones, so I certainly can't claim I've gotten my obsession under control. Well, my overarching goal is to have fun, and this is fun.
